{"id":100,"date":"2024-05-20T11:49:06","date_gmt":"2024-05-20T09:49:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.phytomania.com\/herbal-medicine\/?p=100"},"modified":"2024-05-21T15:09:05","modified_gmt":"2024-05-21T13:09:05","slug":"avocado","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.phytomania.com\/herbal-medicine\/avocado\/","title":{"rendered":"AVOCADO"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.phytomania.com\/plantes-medicinales\/avocat\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"32\" height=\"32\" src=\"https:\/\/www.phytomania.com\/herbal-medicine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/france_flags_flag_8995.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-24\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"300\" height=\"239\" src=\"https:\/\/www.phytomania.com\/herbal-medicine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/autreavocatokcomp.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-101\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Avocado, PERSEA AMERICANA, LAURACEAE, is native to Mexico and tropical America; it was quickly spread throughout the tropical and sub-tropical world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A botanical particularity is the virtual necessity of cross-fertilization in the majority of species<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Insects, especially bees attracted by the nectarine glands of staminodes, provide fertilization by transporting pollen from tree to tree.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The fruit is a drupe of varying shape and color, but generally a yellow-green to purple-brown pyriform.<br>The thin epidermis covers the mesocarp fleshy, soft, oily, with a butyrous odor, yellow-greenish.<br>The large nucleus is located in the center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">AVOCADO PERSEA AMERICANA DIETETIC FRUIT VITAMINS AND FATTY ACIDS OIL DERMATOLOGY PERIODONTOPATHY SCLERODERMY<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">CHEMICAL COMPOSITION AND PROPERTIES<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The avocado pulp has a slightly different chemical composition depending on the varieties, the geographical origin and the climatic conditions:<br>water: 65 to 80%,<br>sugar: 2 to 10%,<br>protein: 1 to 4%<br>oil 3 to 30%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It contains Vitamins A and E and Vitamin B complex, little or no Vitamin C.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Avocado oil is thick, colored in green, with a pleasant odor and taste reminiscent of hazelnut, it gets slowly rancid.<br>Average composition:<br>oleic acid: 42 to 63%,<br>palmitic acid: 17 to 29%,<br>linoleic acid: 9 to 16%,<br>linolenic acid less than 1%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Unsaponifiable which can reach 1 to 2% is half consisting of branched hydrocarbons with 20% of sterols and unidentified reducing triols.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">USES<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The avocado pulp is very energetic, 2000 to 3000 kgcal per kg, and still quite digestible because the oil is in an emulsified form.<br>It is consumed generally raw, in salad, but also incorporated in sorbets or milk drinks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Avocado pulp can be applied as a beauty mask and also directly blended with hair in hair care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Avocado oil is used in cosmetological products, shampoos, non-irritating luxury soap (foaming abundantly).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Unsaponifiable is used in phytomedicines intended to modify the composition and the metabolism of the connective tissue.<br>For example, the mix :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1\/3 unsaponifiable avocado<br>2\/3 unsaponifiable soy<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">is recommended to accompany a treatment of disorders and inflammation of the supporting tissues of the teeth (periodontal disease), in dermatology (scleroderma) and osteoarthritis pain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">More anecdotal, in the West Indies:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>an infusion of leaves is used to cure various disorders, asthenia, diabetes, indigestion, dysmenorrhoea,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the avocado seed is included in aphrodisiac preparations : example the avocado wine, 1 grated avocado seed in 1 liter of wine).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">ABSTRACT<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A NOURISHING FRUIT WITH COSMETOLOGICAL OIL<br>Avocado is native to Mexico and cultivated in many countries.
